Written review:
First of all, I would like to thank Joe, over at XO Skins for sending me this out for review! This skin can be bought directly from their website for around £8.50 (not including postage)

I have had the skin on for a little while now, and feel that the skin is absolutely gorgeous, and provides a different look to the S3, which I find very attractive.
The protection provided too, is good, as it gives the S3s backplate an extra layer of protection.
The material used reminds me of a carbon fiber finish, which looks very cool. The material itself has a pattern on it, and isn’t “smooth”.

One thing that I found that gives the skin a slight disadvantage, is the weight. It isn’t heavy, however it should be noted that adding the skin, I felt, gave the S3 a little extra weight. This can be seen, in some people’s minds as a major disadvantage. That said, the weight difference, is extremely small, but is noticeable in my hands (call me a human scale if you so wish).

Apart from that, both the price, and the quality of the product is very much worth it. I would buy this skin if you would like to give your S3 a different look, and give the backplate that little added protection (even though I don’t care about the backplate, as much as I do for the screen, it’s always better to be safe than sorry). Thus overall, a worthy purchase to differentiate yourself from the crowd, and give you a little added protection, on the back, to your S3.

Hope you enjoyed my guide & overview of the skin!

Samsung Galaxy S III – GT-I9300 – USB OTG Connector Overview

The Samsung Galaxy S III, is a USB OTG (on-the-go) compatible device, which means using a OTG adapter, will allow you to use the OTG functionalities on offer!

I didn’t have much to test with, nor have an expanded knowledge in OTG functionalities, however I had 3 things, which to me were the most important USB connections I could potentially use:
-The Logitech MX Revolution – Mouse
-The Logitech K350 – Keyboard
-The Kingston DT R500 – USB Stick

I thus set out to buy a USB OTG adapter – however most I found, that were confirmed OTG compliant, were wires and not portable at all.
I took the plunge, trusting myself on ebay, and bought myself this OTG Adapter – to my delight, when it came in, it worked perfectly with all the above 3.

My video should explain and show you my use of the OTG adapter with those devices. I should also point out, that there was a function that I missed out to show on the keyboard, and that is the volume up/down & mute button at the very top of my keyboard were working perfectly!

Micro SIM Cutter – Guide & Overview

Here is the video guide:

I bought them from Amazon for around £3.50-4.

I felt that having the SIM cutter was better than going in-store to ask for it cut each time I needed a SIM to be changed.
Overall, I’m very much satisfied with my purchase, and more so, it work perfectly with the adapter on my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 – which unlike the SGS3 i9300 which accepts micro SIM only, the i9000’s SIM slot is a normal sized one.

I hope the video guide helped you!
