Nice review but I disagree with what you said about the KEYCAP. I only had the orbweaver stealth for less than 4 months and the number 13 keycap that goes on the keyboard crack. I assumed its because i use the number 13 key the most as its my forward button, but 4 months of use shouldnt have crack it. I don’t type hard, I used it the same way I use my old Logitech G13 so I found it strange for the key to crack. So when they say we tested the mechanical switches thousands of times, I don’t think it was tested with the keycap on. Now biggest problem is getting another keycap for it. I have contacted razer for a replacement key and still waiting for their response, it seems with these type of keypad the biggest problem is buying replacement keys just in case they break. So quality wise I’m not impress at all with the material they use for razer, since Logitech G13 lasted me 6 years which is a big difference comparing to 4 months. Maybe one day Logitech will make a mechanical keypad. Also it will take you roughly 2-3 weeks to transition from other keypad and get used to the Orbweaver, and the biggest flaw on the design is the side button is too high. Razer expects you to use the side as the modifiers which takes some getting use to.

Damn – thanks for sharing buddy!
Well you could get any sort of keycap replacement, but of course it won’t be the same one as the original. Either way, Razer SHOULD hopefully honour their warranty.

Also looking at that picture you have its got cherry mx brown, I bought mine from the razer website the one I got sent as stealth is a Orange switch. Must be the budget type that I was sent which is why the keycap slot crack. I bought it December 2014.

Well your switch is the cheaper, lower-cost to Razer switch.
The one I had was the Cherry MX Brown Switch, yours is from a Chinese manufacturer Kailh, that Razer use to brand as their “own mechanical switch”.
So yes, yours is a cheaper switch, but there’s nothing you can do about that, unless you buy the older Orbweaver, like the one I had, or buy another brand all-together.

Omg same thing happened to my orbweaver, razer did send me a replacement keycap which took around 3 weeks to received. To prevent future damage I suggest you put O – rings on the keycap to use as stabilizers or sticky tape around the slot. I know how you feel, very ripped off.
